Itinerary suggestion

The following can be seen as an example of an itinerary for a week in Kerry. The itinerary is designed to give a mix of both Day Trips by coach along with some outdoor activities in the world famous Killarney National Park. The itinerary is given solely for illustrative purposes and can be modified to suit one needs and requirements. For further information, please contact our office.

DAY 1 Transfer from Airport to Accommodation
Transfer from Kerry, Shannon or Cork to Hotel in Killarney.
  
DAY 2 Day Trip - "Ring of Kerry"
The “Ring of Kerry” is often referred to as one of the most beautiful coast roads. It also passes through rough mountain terrain with outstanding views from Molls Gap and Ladies View.  
   
DAY 3 ˝ Day Walking in Killarney National Park
Get to know the host town, and have time
to browse around the shops or just take an
easy day. For the other half day take
a leisurely walk through the Demesne.
Along the River, follow the Lake shore to
Ross Castle and on Rudolf Erich Raspes
steps along the Mining trail round off the
walk with a visit of St. Mary’s Cathedral.
  
DAY 4 Day Trip - "Bearra Pensuilla"
A very much undervalued trip is
“Bearra Peninsula”. passing through
Kenmare, one of the towns that kept the
traditional colourful appearance.
The Peninsula is very rugged and
breathtaking. After crossing the mountains
an almost Mediterranean coastline appears
and a trip, passing the seals, to Garnish Island
is a must. This is also a day to meditate in a
most chanting and peaceful place, in
Gougane Barra, before returning to Killarney
  
DAY 5Hill Walking in Killarney National Park
The Killarney National Park and surrounding area has numerous walkways for all ages and fitness.   
  
DAY 6 Day Trip - "Dingle Peninsula"
The “Dingle Peninsula” is an astonishing
trip with long walks on the beach,  passing along rugged coastline, showground of several films before strolling through the
Fishing town of Dingle.
   
DAY 7 ˝ Day Walking in Muckross Park
Muckross House and Gardens allow the
visitor to explore a splendid maintained
Garden and Arboretum with a short walk
to the Waterfall. After experiencing how the Gentry of Ireland lived it is time to see how the farmers lived in days not to long gone by,
in the traditional Farms. The remainder
of the day gives time to fulfil last few
shopping wishes.
 
   
DAY 8 Transfer to Airport
Transfer from Hotel to Airport for return flight Home.
